Call me w - I am a bassist from California that loves both the internet and their privacy, which creates some issues considering the current state of social media. Polygondwanaland is a site created to a) mitigate some of the loneliness I have not being on Instagram, and b) talk about myself, because I am vain.
Polygondwanaland, the site's namesake, is the twelfth studio album by king gizzard and the lizard wizard, released CC BY-ND with remixes allowed. it is the fourth of five albums the band released in 2017, and no songs on the album use exclusively 4/4 time.
I like a whole bunch of things, but I especially like music. As you may be able to tell, the genre-bending rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is among my favorites, but I also like many others. My music taste is electric and I pride myself on being open to listening to pretty much anything. While I mostly enjoy complex mathy rock, I also listen to a lot of jazz (especially Esperanza Spalding) and tropicália. I am also partial to the Windmill Scene and spoken word/sprechgesang when I'm in the mood for it. I can be found in the wild at museums, libraries, coffee shops, thrift stores, flea markets, and on forest hiking trails.
